About the Founder

Cassandra Tyler creates compelling narrative work across many markets, from top-tier brands to global nonprofits. With over a decade in the industry, she is an experienced post-production professional with a multi-faceted skill set.

Her career began in high-intensity live production environments, working with marketing teams and celebrity spokespeople on location, all over the US. After several years, she founded Lightpost Studios, to bring bespoke commercials and trailers to clients. Lightpost Studios boasts several agency and film awards, and a talent roster that stretches coast to coast.

Discovery

Tell us about your vision! We understand that every project is unique. In this step, we listen to your needs, ask questions and gain a clear understanding of your overall goals and objectives, so that we can offer a bespoke strategy tailored to your needs. Who is the target audience? Are there any creative references? All of the key unknowns come to light in our discovery call.

Strategy

After the discovery call, we'll share our ideas and concepts in a proposal, along with suggested timelines and budgets. We hammer out the logistical details in this stage and ensure everything is approved before moving forward. Who is the target audience and what is the goal? Which platform will have the most engagement? Which type of video will have the most impact? What will the creative scope involve? Questions such as these are considered from the start, and every detail (from concept to completion) is factored into the plan. We'll assign the dedicated team members needed to implement the strategy.

Implementation

Once the project is greenlit, we get started immediately. We see this as a truly collaborative process. We take your feedback at every stage of review and work with you to shape the vision into reality. All of this is done alongside the agreed upon schedule. We make sure your thoughts are heard every step of the way.

Delivery

The most exciting part! When all the hard work comes to fruition, and the content is distributed to every platform you need. We work on a wide range of projects from broadcast commercials, to documentaries, to social posts. Each deliverable is made to the necessary specifications, so that you can share with audiences immediately after final delivery.

Do you require a deposit?

We do require a 50% deposit for most projects

Can you work with our internal teams?

Absolutely! We are the perfect add-on to your internal creative and production teams, whether you already have a staff writer, designer, animator, etc. We love partnering with people and collaborating. Our hope is that you come back, so that the next time around, it’s a turn-key solution for you.

Do you work on bids or pitches?

While we do submit bids and pitches, we also recognize that these can be time-consuming endeavors with no reward. Ultimately, it’s our goal to be brought onto projects as a partner that’s involved early in the creative process.

Does your team travel?

We do travel, and have been all over the US! Our office is based in Chicago, but we have multi-national production partners and talent roster that stretches coast to coast.
